Terms & Conditions
We offer a relaxed home from home environment for your dog. As we only board 5 dog
guests at any one time, this can mean availability is limited throughout the year and
therefore we advise you book in advance! We do our utmost to give each guest the most
enjoyable stay possible in a safe and caring environment. PPO is our lifestyle and so we
do have to enforce some rules & boundaries, not only for our benefit but also for the
benefit of the dogs staying here. We truly appreciate every customer that trusts us to care
for their dog and hope in turn you can accept the few terms & conditions we have in place
at PPO. Any booking made is subject to Peak Paws Outdoors terms & conditions.
Guest Requirements
Health
All dogs must be up to date with annual general vaccinations for Canine Distemper,
Canine Parvovirus and two forms of Leptospirosis. We do NOT require Kennel Cough
vaccinations as we only board 6 dogs at any one time. All vaccinations must be given at
least a month before your dog stays at PPO. Please bring your dogs vaccination record
when arriving at PPO, we will keep a record and update this as needed.
We cannot board unwell dogs or dogs that have any contagious illnesses.
Dogs must be regularly checked for fleas and worms and treated accordingly. It is
advisable to treat your dog for fleas a week before they stay at PPO.
All male dogs must be neutered. We cannot board bitches that are due, or are, in season.
Behaviour
To ensure an enjoyable stay for all of our guests, we have rules about behaviour and
obedience. Dogs must be dog friendly, well socialised and must not have shown ANY
aggression towards another dog. We do not tolerate any anti social behaviour towards
fellow dog guests or people. We can not accept dogs who create excessive noise or
barking and dogs must be happy to sleep away from human contact, we don't allow guest
dogs in our bed! If you are unsure about how your dog will settle we advise for you to book
an overnight trial to ensure everybody is happy. We insist on an overnight trial for any new
bookings longer than one week in duration. We require our guests to be fully house trained
and have mastered basic training. We can not board dogs who chew furniture or soft
furnishings, we hope that you understand that we share our home with our dog guests and
like to maintain it. Owners will be contacted immediately in the event of an incident. We will
re-locate any anti social dog to the nearest suitable boarding premises if the owner cannot
arrange alternative accommodation, refunds will not be given in this instance.
Food
We ask for owners to bring their dogs usual food to avoid any digestive upsets.
Medication
We are happy to administer any medicines needed and these are stored securely at PPO.
Please provide instructions regarding dosage etc. Any medication given is recorded at
PPO.
Belongings
Please bring your dogs bed and lead. You are welcome to include their toys, clothing etc.
Peak Paws Outdoors is not responsible for any damage caused to these items.
Paperwork
Please bring along a completed registration form (given at the initial meet) and your dogs
vaccination record. Please bring your dogs vaccination record at subsequent visits if
updated.

Viewings are by appointment only.
Arrivals & Departures
Please call or text Joy on 07929926006 the day before collecting with the time you plan to
pick up your dog. Please try to be as prompt as possible and inform Joy of any delays.
Bookings
We have to meet & assess all dogs before we can accept any booking which gives the
owner the opportunity to view the premises and ask any questions. We want you to feel
100% comfortable about your dog's holiday with us. Bookings will only be secured with a
non refundable deposit of 50% of the value of the stay. PPO will send written confirmation
of the booking when a deposit is paid. If a deposit isn't received within 7 days of reserving
the space, I'm afraid that the booking will be cancelled.
Cancellations or amendments to bookings
As we only offer 5 boarding spaces and these can get booked up well in advance, it
means there is limited availability throughout most of the year. Therefore we appreciate it if
you can give as much notice as possible for cancellations or amendments. We will refund
or credit your deposit if written notice is given at least 6 weeks prior to the booking date. If
notice is given later than this time & we can not manage to fill the space the deposit is non
refundable. If you wish to reduce the length of the booked stay within 6 weeks of its
commencement, I'm afraid 50% of the value of the cancelled days will be charged unless
we fill the vacant spaces. We will always try to fill any cancelled spaces but we hope that
you appreciate that most of our clients book in advance and we are busy throughout the
year, often turning down business as we are fully booked. In the event of a cancellation or
amendments we have to cover our losses.
